Penis girth enhancement
The girth of the penis is increased by injecting your own fat tissue under the skin. The fat is taken by liposuction, most often from the mons pubis, purified and injected in thin layers.
What concerns does it address?
How is it done?
The procedure has two parts: liposuction of a smaller area — most often the mons pubis, for an additional impression of size, though fat can also be taken from other areas — and injection. The fat is distributed evenly around the whole circumference. Part of the injected tissue is absorbed by the body in the first months, so the initial result shrinks to the final one. The procedure can be repeated several times.
When is the procedure not suitable?
It is not done when there is not enough of your own fat tissue to take, if there is active inflammation of the genitals or skin or uncontrolled diabetes, and when a change in length or erection is expected — this procedure changes only girth.
General reasons for postponing a procedure (inflammation, a clotting disorder, smoking): When is a procedure postponed?
Anaesthesia
Before a procedure under general or regional anaesthesia, you are seen by the anaesthetist, who works full time at the clinic; the same doctor is also present during the procedure. The anaesthetic assessment and the anaesthesia for larger operations are included in the price of the procedure. What happens before, during and after anaesthesia is described on the Anaesthesia page.
Risks
Occasional — uneven distribution of fat that is corrected, absorption of a larger part of the tissue, so the procedure has to be repeated.

Specialist and team
Specialty: urology — examinations, diagnostics and procedures.
When the procedure is done under sedation or general anaesthesia, the anaesthesia is led by a specialist in anaesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care who works full time at the clinic.
In the operating theatre, the surgeon is assisted by head nurse Martina Šereg, with the help of nurses Kristina Jurešić and Mateja Tomorad, and in recovery the care assistant Mirjana Kovačić is with you. Martina also looks after preparation, scheduling and contact after the procedure.
Who will operate is decided at the examination, based on the findings and the type of procedure. You know the name of the surgeon before the procedure and meet them at the examination.
What happens at the examination?
A urological examination has two parts: a conversation about your symptoms, past illnesses and medicines, and a clinical examination. Depending on the findings, an ultrasound is done straight away, in the same visit, if needed. You receive the findings at the examination.
What if the result is not as agreed?
The result of a procedure is assessed at a follow-up visit, once the swelling has gone down and the scar has matured, not in the first weeks. If it differs from what was agreed at the examination, the same surgeon carries out the correction.

In the same visit
- Penis lengthening — lengthening and girth enhancement are most often done together, in one procedure and one recovery.
- Mons pubis correction — the same procedure, the same fat tissue: it is removed from the mons and put into the penis.
Frequently asked questions
How much girth is gained? It depends on the amount of tissue that can be injected and on how much will remain after absorption. The estimate is made at the examination; no figure is a promise.
Even or in lumps? Fat tissue is placed in thin layers, through several punctures, over the whole circumference under the skin. In the first weeks it may be uneven until the swelling goes down; in most men it evens out in two to three months. A lump that remains can be corrected.
Does erection or sensation change? No. The fat tissue is under the skin, outside the tissue involved in erection; sensation of the glans stays the same.
Is it normal to feel uncomfortable coming in? Yes, and it is the most common reason men put off an examination for years. At the examination nothing is commented on and nothing is compared; the doctor has seen every variation and it is routine. The first conversation can also take place without an examination, if that is easier for you.
How much does the result depend on care after the procedure? The larger the procedure, the more it depends on it, but it always does. Healing takes weeks and months and happens almost entirely at home, so the instructions you receive when you go home, about the wound, physical activity and the scar, are part of the procedure, not a recommendation.
