Price list
Prices are valid for 2026 and are given in euros.
What is included in the price of the procedure?
- General anaesthesia in larger operations is included in the price of the procedure.
- Follow-up visits with the surgeon during the first three months after the procedure are free of charge.
- Dressing changes for a patient operated on at Poliklinika Barbel are included in the price of the procedure.
- An overnight stay at the clinic and care during the night, when the doctor judges that an overnight stay is needed, are included in the price of the procedure.
What is paid for in addition to the price of the procedure?
Before a procedure there is an examination by the surgeon, and for a procedure under general anaesthesia also an anaesthetic assessment. The surgeon's examination and the tests before the procedure are not included in the price of the procedure; the anaesthetic assessment before the operation is included in the price of the procedure.
- Surgeon's examination and opinion on a procedure: €50–80
- Anaesthetist's examination without a procedure: €50–80 — surgeon's and anaesthetist's examination on the same day: €120
- Laboratory tests of blood and urine: €50–100, extended €80–200
- ECG: €20
For a procedure under local anaesthesia, laboratory tests and an ECG are usually not needed.
Why is the price a range and not a single amount?
Several factors affect the price of a procedure, so the exact amount cannot be set in advance. The surgeon tells you which amount applies in your case at the examination, before the procedure is agreed.
